Meeting Practical Needs

Team Leaders: Blanch Ramos, Stella Montañez and Alicia De La Cruz

Casa Wesley Clothing Ministry was established in February of 2005 to provide new and used clean clothes for those within the surrounding community. Our desire is to be an outward expression of Christ's love by meeting the practical needs of those seeking assistance.

We provide clothing for men, women, and children of all sizes regardless of their economic situation. We know that receiving much-needed clothing can make a huge difference in the lives of individuals and families who are faced with a limited budget. If you or someone you know has clothing needs, please visit Casa Wesley Clothing Closet.

Allow us to bless you. It is our reasonable service.

If you or anyone you know is interested in donating clothing at any time or have a clothing need, we encourage you to please contact us through the church office at 830.379.1991.

We welcome all types of clothing and shoes for men, women, and children. New, packaged athletic socks and underwear will also be accepted. All donations must be in good condition, freshly washed, or dry cleaned.

As we desire to provide garments in "new" or "like new" condition, we can not accept clothes that are poor condition, dirty, or permanently stained. We can not accept previously worn undergarments.

Casa Wesley Clothing Closet accepts “gently used clothing” items in the following conditions:

  1. Currently in style
  2. Free of holes, rips, and tears. This includes the linings of jackets, coats, pants, and skirts
  3. Free of stains and permanent markings. Please examine garments before donating
  4. Buttons must be in place and zippers must function properly
  5. Shoes must be clean and in good condition (no holes, minimal scuffing, minimal wear on soles)

The Clothing Ministry would like to thank all of those who have contributed clothing and other items for the "Clothing Closet". We could not do what we do, or help so many, without your generosity.

Help us to continue helping others by making sure your donated items are "gently used" and clean.

A good rule of thumb -- if you or your family will wear it, pass it on to your church family.

Your generosity is so abundant that we are able to bless the multitudes.

The clothing ministry reserves the right to pass on our gifts to other ministries outside of our church as we deem necessary, in an effort to control our volume.

Thanks again for your generosity.

God bless you all.
